Corey “Flex” Artis II attended the University of North Texas in Denton. Throughout his collegiate journey Flex immersed himself in on-campus organizations such as Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity and served as Vice President for both Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and the UNT Real Estate club. Flex also started an elite event promotions group that was responsible for coordinating over 100 events, including social mixers and panels, that brought students together to discuss social issues, politics, school, and entrepreneurship. In addition, he curated fashion shows and concerts to give students a space to express themselves and celebrate. In his time at UNT, Flex managed to work with celebrity talents Post Malone, Nipsey Hussle, Curren$y, and Playboi Carti to name a few. In 2016, Flex was recognized and honored in “Dallas Who’s Who” magazine as a millennial in entertainment and event production. In 2017, Flex won “Best Dressed” and “Man Of The Year” at UNT shortly before graduating with a degree in Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, and Marketing. 

 

After graduating, Flex officially launched the “Artis Agency,” which is a platform/membership club that connects aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives, and small businesses. Flex has made a huge impact on his community by inspiring his peers through his endeavors in business, tech, and fashion. In 2018, Flex co-founded a tech company called, Geekletes, which is an E-sports company focused in the online NBA 2K league that develops professional gamers. Geekletes has begun renovation on a 16,000 sqft facility in Desoto,TX and plans to open home base as a esports space in late August, 2019. Flex also owns an emerging lifestyle brand called “Flexaveli,” which is sold in stores at the Galleria Mall in Dallas, TX; and has been worn by celebrities in music, fashion, and sports. 

 

As of early summer 2019, Flex has begun a residency at popular nightclub Level, in the Uptown Dallas district. He will be hosting Success Saturday, which caters to young professionals looking to network and party responsibly. He is also producing an entrepreneurship conference, Dallas Recognition of Entrepreneurs and Artist Magnified. The conference will highlight Dallas culture, talent and the emerging creative community. With his extensive network and array of resources, Flex is creating a platform for entrepreneurs and creatives to learn, network, and connect with industry leaders from all over the Southern region. Flex is investing so much diligence and equity into the Dallas market that some have even referred to him as the “Diddy of Dallas”. There is no limit to what he can do or where he will go next!
